So I wanted to share my growth this year with yoga, this is another passion of mine and picture will actually do this one justice! So I will just share some of my favorite memories, poses and achievements from this year!
This is early on in my yoga journey, I was tight and it didn’t come very natural but my little princess was my motivation. She LOVES doing yoga and never misses a chance to join me!
My favorite pose for stretching is the lizard pose, a big thanks to #runyoasana2 with Tera (@thalverson23) for this. It is so great on your hips and back, expect to see this one in my Running/ Yoga Challenge for 2018.
I love to do my yoga with the sunrise. That time of day is so peaceful for me, and it gets my mind right for the day. Today's #runyoasana2 really stretched my hips, hence the awesome yoga face! Sometimes you have to stretch away the bad mojo and I really learned how to do that this year, and pushed myself! So just a couple more poses that really helped me. Wheel pose is my favorite for just getting rid of bad energy.
My biggest accomplishment was definitely being able to hold the crow pose for the first time. This is something that I worked on for months, with many face plants in the process. Once I finally got it though, I was so proud!
